Please Rake Bunkers!

If you want to help our bunkers improve please play your part and rake bunkers properly after play. The issues with bunkers becoming hard are brought about by contamination from the predominately clay based soil the Club sits on, Dave Rogers and his team have been working on this problem continuously over the year’s, bearing in mind the bunker problems have been around since the course opened many year’s ago.

One thing that most golfers would have noticed is the grass faces on the newer bunkers, this acts as a filter when it rains to help limit contamination, this process will continue on all bunker maintenance projects in the future.
