Mens Foursomes 2022 Gross

Michael Stanford and Jacob Lamb are the 2022 Foursomes Champions after a 3 hole playoff against Shaun Elphick and Steve Mc Donald

The playoff started well with both Steve and Michael smashing their respective drives past the dam and leaving their partner’s with soft wedges into the 10th green. Shaun pushed wide of the green with Jacob hitting his approach to about 10 foot Steve’s chip ran past leaving Shaun with a lengthy par putt. Michael rolled in the birdie and Shaun missed 3/5

The 11th both Shaun and Jacob hit average drives with the hole result being 5/6 to Mick and Jacob

The 18th Michaels drive found centre cut with Steve missing the fairway right the next shots missed the green but Micks chip went to within a foot, Jacob rolled in the putt  and that was that. Thanks to all the sponsors, Matt and the boys in the pro shop and all the Captains helpers, next year will be a two rounder shotgun  start regardless of the weather.
