Club Championships Results 2026 Ladies Gross  

The Ladies Championships delivered four rounds of determined golf, steady scoring, and some impressive resilience across both grades. With shifting conditions throughout the week, players were tested from start to finish — and the final leaderboards reflect those who handled the pressure best.

A Grade  – Champion Lousea Johnston Sets the Standard :

Lousea Johnston – 324

Lousea Johnston produced four composed rounds to claim the A Grade title. Her consistency — highlighted by a strong 77 in Round 3 — kept her clear of the field and secured a well‑deserved victory. Runner‑up: Maiv Dorman (329) Maiv stayed within striking distance all week, opening with a tidy 81 and finishing just five shots behind. Other Notable Performances

• Patsy Lamberton (357) held third place with a steady week.
• A tight cluster followed, with Gabrielle Volk (364), Jane Williams (365), and Mary Housler (367) all battling through the middle rounds.
• The field remained competitive throughout, with several players trading positions daily.

B Grade –  Champion Lorette Sams Holds Her Nerve :

Lorette Sams – 410

Lorette Sams handled the week’s challenges best in Grade B, piecing together four solid rounds to take the title. Her steady scoring across all days proved the difference in a tightly contested grade. Runner‑up: Jodeen Jackson (413) Jodeen surged late with a strong final‑round 93, closing the gap and finishing just three shots behind. Other Highlights

• Helen Carver (413) matched Jodeen’s total, finishing equal second on countback.
• Kinga Macpherson (415) stayed in the mix all week.
• A competitive mid‑pack saw several players separated by only a handful of stroke

• Diane Campbell produced a superb two‑round total of 73 setting the benchmark early and never letting go. Her opening 30 kept her well in the hunt, but it was her outstanding 43 in the second round that sealed the title in emphatic fashion. It was a round built on consistency and smart course management—exactly the formula needed to win a championship flight. A well‑deserved victory
