Leo Evans and Ken Welch defeat Cameron Richards & Damien Bourke to win the Jimmy Johnson on the last hole.

The match was a very even affair being all square at the turn, the 16th Leo Evans made a nice up and down to square the hole, they kept the status quo until the last hole with Leo holing a nice put on the last the secure the win and the Title for 2025

(1) With round one complete there is no clear-cut favourite. Cameron and Damien loom as the big threats and Steve Dury and Terry Staines are in great form with Steve also leading the Top Gun. The Match to watch next week will be the match up of Kovac and Sparke up against Finnerty and Gibbs odds even on sports bet with this one. Have fun and remember to keep your place in the field.

(2) The quarter Finals are taking shape. The team of Bourke and Richards take on Bright and Sargent who were impressive in their win over Weal and Bruce but will have more of a challenge against Bourke and Richards who two years ago raised the trophy.

Gibbs and Finnerty continue to impress but will have their hands full up against the Matherson’s.

In the bottom half of the draw, it’s the battle of the father and sons Wilds vs Windus.

The Daunts quite achiever’s move into the last sixteen and will play Ken Welch and Leo Even should be one to watch

(3) The semi finals are next Cameron Richards and Damien Bourke Vs Steve Finnerty and Anthony Gibbs in the top half of the draw.

The bottom half are the teams of Tony and Scott Wilds Vs Leo Evans and Ken Welsh hard to pick a winner from these four teams, the fence is what I’m sitting on for the semis, good luck to all the teams

(3) Semi final victors Leo Evans & Ken Welch have become the quite achievers and easily accounted for the Tony & Scott Wilds setting up a clash with Damien Bourke and Cameron Richards who stormed past Anthony Gibbs & Steve (flapper) Finnerty to make the finals. Glory awaits for one pairing who will be the Jimmy Johnson Champion for 2025
