Jake Davis                                          Lachlan Jones                                                    Will Johnston

The weather kept scores high for the 2020 Bathurst Open  but Lachlan Jones played steady golf all weekend setting up a 2 shot lead after a first round of 70 and a second round of 73 was good enough to hold off Mark Hale 73-73 last years winner, the best placed Bathurstian was Phil Campbell third with rounds of 73-75

B Grade winner was Jake Davis 164 from Norm Matheson 167

C Grade Winner William Johnston 180 from Cameron Ellis 180 c/b

Bathurst Golf Club looked a picture on Friday and the looming weather forecast didn’t deter big fields for both days of play, there was a rain delay in the afternoon on Saturday of thirty minutes but with clever pin placements, play resumed and all players where able to complete there rounds. Sundays rain wasn’t hard enough to stop play it just made scoring that little bit harder, so it was nice after the hard year with covid 19 to have another successful Bathurst Open
